The Knights of Columbus (KofC) Warriors to Lourdes program is a joint effort with the Archdiocese of the Military Services (AMS) to send military active duty and veterans on pilgrimage to Lourdes, France, where a series of apparitions appeared to St Bernadette in the 1858. During these apparitions, Berndette uncovered a fount of water just beneath the soil where the Blessed Virgin Mary instructed her to dig. This fount of water has been a source of healing for many people throughout the years. There are three churches at this site, one of them a Bascilica where millions of visitors flock each year in search of physical and spiritual healing.
The program can pay for the visits of disabled or injured service members and veterans, depending on their qualification.
