Faith Formation (CCD) Grade 7 and 8

CCD for Grade 7 and 8 is offered:

CCD Grade 7 and 8 Curriculum

Seventh Grade: Christocentric focus. New Testament and Hebrew Testament understanding of Messiah. Christ is with us through the sacrament of the church. Students will be introduced to keeping a journal.

Memorize:

  • Sacraments
  • Laws of the Church

Eighth Grade: The Church is an expression of the presence of Christ in the world. As Church we are sent to continue the mission of Christ in our world today. “What Would Jesus Do?” Is a good way to evaluate our actions in the world?

Memorize:

  • Understanding of "Dogma"
  • Understanding of "Doctrine"
  • The Traditions of the Church
