St. Andrew's Staff

Administrative Assistant

Lucy has been with us since 2003.  As you walk into the parish offices, she is the person on the left, where the window is.  She is the person to see to register in the parish, make appointments with Fr. Greg, to have Masses said, or schedule the church or parish hall.

Other jobs for this busy lady include typing the bulletin, preparing pastoral reports, buying sacrament books, arranging visits to the homebound and hospitalized and working with and being on the Board of Directors for La Purisima Retreat House.

Lucy was born and raised in Agua Prieta, Sonora.  She has lived in Sierra Vista since 1994.  Before joining our staff, she owned a party catering/rental business.  Lucy and husband Bob have two daughters.  Lucy enjoys gardening, photography and traveling.

Lucy can be reached at 458-2925 or lucy@standrewsv.org

Kate joined the staff in April of 2011 and moved into the Bookkeeper position in May of 2012.  Kate is also one of the parish musicians and plays at Good Shepherd Mission at the Saturday evening Mass.

She was born and raised in Connecticut, traveled extensively as both an Army soldier herself, then later accompanying her husband on his military career.  Two of Kate's four children have also started Army careers.  Kate enjoys taking care of her house, her children and her pets.

Kate can be reached at 458-2925 or kate@standrewsv.org

Sr Joellen Kohlmann
Director of Religious Education

Sister Joellen is a member of the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity from Manitowoc, Wisconsin, which is also her home town! She was raised on a small dairy farm. Her parents and one brother are deceased, but she has one sister and brother, my sister-in-law and wonderful extended family which includes nine nieces and nephews, 13 great nieces and nephews and one great great niece, in Wisconsin!

Sister has a Masters Degree in Education from the University of Dayton, and has been working in the field of education for forty years -- with seventeen of those years as Principal!
Sister has taught in Wisconsin, Arizona, Michigan, Ohio, and Nebraska. Sister is not new to the Diocese of Tucson, she has served as Principal at San Xavier Mission School, in Tucson, and at Immaculate Conception School in Yuma!
For the past seven years she has taught religion classes at Guardian Angels Central Catholic in West Point, Nebraska, (Grades 7-12)!

Sister Joellen just celebrated thirty years of profession as a religious Sister, and is ready to enjoy many more!
Sister tells us that she is “eager to return to Arizona and look forward to getting to know everyone at St. Andrew’s and assist parents in the faith formation of their children!”
Sister Joellen will be living with Sister Carol Seidl, the Principal of All Saints School, and also a member of the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity of Manitowoc! The Sister welcomes any young woman to speak to them about Religious Life!

Sr Joellen can be reached at 458-2925 x113 or srj@standrewsv.org.

Music Director

Rebecca has been our music director since 1993.  In that capacity, she makes sure that there is music for all our Masses on weekends as well as Masses requiring music on other special days, plus weddings and funerals.  She can be found at the Saturday evening Mass and the 10 a.m. Sunday Mass every weekend, plus the Spanish Mass.  She trains the Teen Band, and the children’s choir in bell ringing.

From her lack of accent, one would never know Rebecca was born and raised in the Deep South.  Upon graduating cum laude from Vanderbilt University, she joined the Peace Corps, teaching music in Barbados.  After that she toured with R&B, reggae and "Top 40's" groups.  This mother of two daughters in college describes herself as a news junkie.

Rebecca can be reached at  rbwilliams_tbtg@msn.com
