Catechism for Children at St Andrew The Apostle begins at age 3 years through The Sacrament of Confirmation in 10th grade.

Ages 3-6, Catechesis of The Good Shepherd Program, meet Sunday mornings from 8:15-9:30 AM, or 11:20-12:45 PM. There is also a session on Thursday mornings at 10:00-11:30 AM. All meet in the Atrium classrooms #9 and #10.

First Communion Catechesis of the Good Shepherd for 2nd graders meet Wednesday or Thursday evenings from 5:00-6:30 PM in the Atriums.Grades 3-5 meet on Sunday mornings from 8:15-9:30 AM in rooms 3, 4, or 5.

Students in grades 3-8, who are preparing for the Sacrament of Baptism, or Reconciliation and First Communion, meet on Sundays in Room 7 from 8:15-9:30 AM and then attend the 10:00 Mass together. Mass is followed by a short discussion with students ready to leave around 11:20 AM.

Grades 6, 7, and 8 meet on Tuesdays from 5:00-6:30 PM. Their class is followed by the Edge program from 6:30-8:00 PM. 

Confirmation classes for 9th and 10th graders meet on Monday evenings from 7:00-8:00 PM.

Parish registration is required for Faith Formation registration to maintain attendance records. Birth and Baptismal certificates are required if Baptism was not at St. Andrew’s. Regular attendance is very important. The family is the arena where children learn the importance of learning and practicing their faith.
