The Ladies of St. Andrew was established to encourage women of the parish to perform charitable works for the community to provide an opportunity to meet for spiritual and social activities. We support Our Lord’s work in the parish and the faith community with willing hands and loving hearts through our programs and fundraisers.
During the past 5 years, we have provided over $85,000 in support to local and worldwide missions, such as St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank, Catholic Community Services Foster Program and Domestic Violence Center (Forgach House), Life Teen, St. Joseph Youth Camp, Good Neighbor Alliance, Social Concerns Committee, Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA), Rosary Ministry, Joan Martin Haiti Project, Nepal Mission, Huachuca City Fire Department and the Sierra Vista/Fry Fire Departments Christmas Drives, Knights of Columbus Christmas Party, Care Net, Saint Andrew’s Library, restoration projects at Saint Patrick Church and San Xavier del Bac, and many other special charity and parish needs.
We coordinate special events such as the annual Bazaar, Saint Nicholas Fair, and “Baby Shower for Baby Jesus,” which provides needed items for Care Net.
We know that many of you volunteer year after year, and we are blessed for the work you do. Together we have done so much, but we need “a few new good women” to join us. We are asking for volunteers in all areas. Will you be a part of this blessed tradition? Come join us!
